The name InterGest comes from the French term ‘Gestion Internationale’, which means international administration. Founded in France by Heinz Anterist, the concept quickly expanded beyond borders by bringing together competent and reliable local partners who shared the same values of professionalism and customer service.

Today, the InterGest group has grown into a truly global network, with approximately 45 partners in more than 50 countries. Supported by nearly 750 experienced professionals, InterGest manages more than 1,700 international subsidiaries on behalf of its clients. This unique combination of local expertise and international reach enables companies to expand beyond borders with confidence, knowing that their administration, accounting and compliance are in good hands.

Est. 1989

InterGest Belgium was founded in 1989 by German lawyer Walter G. Grupp and has since built a solid reputation as a trusted partner for international and Belgian companies. In 2007, the firm was taken over by Frank E. Celis, an accountant and tax advisor with extensive experience in the financial and administrative sector, who has successfully expanded both the company and the range of services offered to clients.

In 2021, management was handed over to his son, Mick F. Celis, a chartered accountant and tax advisor certified by the Belgian Institute of Tax Advisors and Accountants (ITAA). A member of the company since 2008, he continues to lead InterGest Belgium with the same vision, dedication and commitment to excellence, ensuring that clients benefit from both long-standing expertise and a forward-looking approach.

Mick Celis

Managing director

Mick Celis is a member of the Belgian Institute of Accountants and Tax Advisors (ITAA). He holds a degree in Business Administration: Accounting and Taxation (Thomas More) and has been with InterGest since 2008, taking over the management of the company in 2021.

His expertise covers Belgian accounting principles (BEGAAP), corporate tax and VAT regulations, complemented by solid experience in international group reporting and cross-border consulting. He advises foreign multinationals on setting up and managing their activities in Belgium, ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting the long-term growth of their businesses.
